Helping People Become Faithful Followers of Jesus Christ

What To Expect

What Will I Experience During Worship

What time is worship?

Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 9:00 and is followed by Sunday School at 10:45.

Where will I park?

You may park in front of our main building, or at the elementary school next door or on Maple street to the north of our church.

What should I expect?

You will see neighbors who have come together to meet God in worship, to hear His word preached, to pray, to sing, and to praise the Lord. There will be men and women, children and youth, old and young, gathered around the One God and His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe that God works miracles in His family and equips each and every member for service in His kingdom. God’s word is honored as absolute truth and is delivered in a way that is both powerful and  practical.

What kind of music will I hear?

We draw from several worship styles at Harvest Bible Church. Our goal is to honor our past while also presenting fresh, new worship experiences. We do this by blending hymns and current worship music, with a contemporary perspective. We are committed to both a spirit of excellence and a spirit of worship in our music. Our hope is to create a life-altering, Spirit-led environment that brings glory to God.

What will my kids do?

Children are treasured at Harvest Bible Church and are always welcome in worship. There is a nursery available for infants and toddlers that many parents use as an option during worship. Our three-year-olds through fifth grade are invited to participate in “Kids Connection”, an exciting and energized children’s worship. They start in our corporate worship with their parents in the sanctuary and are dismissed from the service after a brief teaching time with our pastor. The pastor will call them up to the front of the church for a mini lesson and then send them to “Kids Connection”. You will pick up your children from “Kids Connection”. If you are staying for Sunday School your children will be taken to their Sunday School classroom from “Kids Connection”.

What about my teens?

Teens will participate in corporate worship along with you. During Sunday School at 10:45 there is a special Sunday School designed for your teens. On Wednesday nights at 6:00 a meal is provided, followed by a special time of worship just for your teens called “Illuminate”.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Most people dress casually, wearing jeans and cowboy boots, and some wear dresses or suits.

Will anyone ask me to say or do anything?

You will not be called upon in any way. We want to treat our guests with respect. We are blessed that you would take the time to come our way. You will be invited to fill out a visitor’s card but you are not required to do so.
